Sick = Stinks

We try sooo hard to prevent from getting sick because when we catch something =  Ayla catches something! and it usually hits her much harder than us....poor kiddo and those lungs.

I'll admit, I'm a pansy when it comes to being sick. Yep- P.A.N.S.Y pants....I'd much rather lay in bed and sleep or read (side note: please don't bother me when I'm sick...yes, I am one of those "leave-me-alone-to-my-misery" sick people)  but full-time wife, full-time mom and full-time work do not care if I want to be misery. by myself. with my kindle and tissues. alone.

For 6 days I have been fighting a nasty sinus/cold/evil thing that will not leave be. What's worse: Ayla now has it. As an adult I can medicate myself with cold & sinus wonder drugs (thank goodness for those! How did people manage without?!) and pretty much keep myself looney. Not Ayla.

Poor kiddo....she IS misery and it's terrible. and it's my fault. and they don't make "kiddo-wonder-drugs".

   As result, Ayla has been keeping us more awake at night. As in "I had surgery-2-weeks-ago-and-now-I-am-sick-and-it's-your-fault" sleeplessness. Ayla has never been a good sleeper (in fact, don't recall that she has ever slept through an entire night without gagging, coughing, crying or other malady) but it's now a whole different level. and it's justified.
So, to the person who gave me this nasty cold: if I find you...run. Run very far and very fast. You have been warned.
The End.

Seriously!!! I have been sick too and it is some weird congested, dizzy head, cold thing. I hate feeling crappy. So when you find the person who gave it to both of us let me know and I think we could be a pretty tough team! (:
