Random Act of Kindness....
On the 8th of March was Zoey's 4th Anniversary Passing and in her honor, we made a visit to her grave site with a small gift and remembered to perform a conscious Random Act of Kindness. Not that a special day is needed to provide an act of kindness but it's a nice way to carry on a small part of her spirit here on earth.
Being kind is easy and there are so many little things that make a huge difference- performing an act of kindness doesn't need to be grand or hard. Below is a list of RAK's that we've performed or had given to us and the best part.....the majority of them are FREE!
Feel free to include a few of these into your days over the next several weeks.
- Smile
- Hold the Door Open for someone (when this happens to me I LOVE it)
- Read to a child (even if it's your own)
- Return a Shopping Cart to where it belongs
- Write a letter to someone who has made a difference in your life
- Pick up Trash
- Be a Friend who Listens
- Be kind to someone you dislike
- Send Flowers (even if they are from your garden)
